It has always been an issue with parents on whether to enrol their children into a single-sex school or a co-educational school. However, it is clear that co-educational schools are better than single-sex schools because let students socialize with the opposite gender and look at issues from different views.

It is impossible to avoid contact with the opposite gender in this world and it is essential to know how to build healthy relationships with the opposite gender. If a person cannot do this it is a huge disadvantage for him/herself and might also develop a negative response to the approach of the opposite gender. Being able to communicate and build healthy relationships with the opposite gender is vital in our society. This opportunity is given in co-educational schools.
Another benefit from learning from a co-ed school is that you can broaden your knowledge and look from different perspectives. Both boys and girls think differently. By studying with the opposite gender one can be exposed to a variety of views and opinions on different things.
Some have the conception that single-sex schools are better academically as they can focus on their work and are not distracted by the opposite gender, however this is not true. It has been shown several times that there is no difference between the academic results of co-ed schools and single-sex schools. Professor Helen Forgasz from Monash University Faculty of Education said recent research published in the Journal of Educational Psychology found there was no difference between student international test results in single-sex and co-educational schools in Korea.
