This lab report discusses an experiment to become cognizant of mass and volume measurements and their manipulations through calculation. Also, to distinguish wholesome substances and mixtures utilizing density determinations. The objective of this lab is to hone and practice great lab strategies. This lab report displays the methods for the experiment, the outcomes of the experiment, and an investigation of those results. The volume of water was recorded at 42.2mL in the data table.
7. The volume the pennies occupied was recorded as 10.6mL by subtracting the final volume of water from the initial volume of water.
8. Steps 1-7 was repeated after emptying the graduated cylinder and drying the pennies thoroughly. A different set of 30 pennies was used.

Observations:
The unknown liquid that was classified as Methanol was clear in color and had no scent. The recorded data for all 4 procedures for trial 1 differed from trial 2, respectively. These differences for the density were used to calibrate the average density data for the water, seawater, methanol and the pennies.
Part III. Results and Discussion:
In spite of the fact that density relates two distinct sorts of measurements, mass and volume, it bears a number of the attributes of the relative connections between mass standards that were detected in the lab.
