The Europeans did not know that the Indians were very spiritual. The Indians are capable of living with nature. Indians understood nature. They are very careful with the land and the animals that live on it. They believed that there was a god in nature.
The Natives did not live on a place forever, they constantly move from place to place. The settlers thought the Natives did not own them and they could just took the land and live there. Indians believed that anyone could use the land but no one could own it.
