They work together, play together, eat together, and sometimes even live together. During my undergraduate years at Western Michigan University, I took a class called “Different Religions of the World,” that class helped me understand that many religions and belief systems are man (mankind) made and many of them are based off of interpretation. There were many people in that class that believed in different religions, and some were atheists, but we were all able to discuss different topics, work together on class projects, and gain a better understanding of what others believes and why do conduct themselves the way they do. I also am a member of two global fraternities (Alpha Kappa Psi Co-ed Business Fraternity and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.). There are members (brothers) in the fraternity that believe in different GODs and again don’t believe in GOD, but we still consider ourselves a part of a bond and treat each other as Good Brothers. We understand our differences is who makes us who we are and we able to work together a Brothers in a bond to serve our mission and achieve great things in this world, because it’s not always about us it’s about the mission and the mission is to impact and create change in this world to sum capacity.
