WHAT IS OUR FOUNDATION?
To build a foundation with in you, you must live the rest of your life pursuing God! Knowing God is the greatest and most privileged pursuit that human beings can achieve. In fact, we were made and place on earth in order to know God in a real, personal, and meaningful way. The more time you spend building your foundation correctly, the more likely that anything you build on that foundation will not disintegrate, fall, or lean in the long run. When you develop an intense foundation in God, it allows him to build a taller structure through your life long term. It is "the free gift" principle of Romans 5:15. Law does not give anyone a gift: it requires performance to be given to it. Grace, on the other hand, gives the gift to us "The gift by grace" (Romans 5:15). It's a gift-and it's ours! What we would have to work for to gain under the law God gives to us as a free gift by His Grace. Grace is the system of operating whereby in Christ-because of His finished, all sufficient work at Calvary-God can freely give us all things.
If the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. The balance of grace and faith is an important foundational truth. Whether you are consciously aware of it or not, you deal with this on a daily basis. The body of Christ is basically divided into two groups: those who emphasize grace and those who emphasize faith. The bible clearly teaches a balance between grace (god’s part) and faith. As you opened your heart to received God’s Word, the lord has some life-changing truths. He wants to share with us.
