Not everyone is good at working with the public because people can be very rude and most of the time you can’t say anything back, you just need to smile and work the situation out to make the customer happy.…

My job the first day was stickering the bags and then placing them at each station. The stickers were the expiration date and we would drop them off at each table so the table could fill them up with the food. We actually had to sticker pretty fast to keep up with the people packing the food. The second day was a little different for me. I've done feed my starving children in the past and has always packed the food and never work in the warehouse. I never worked in the warehouse because I was honestly scared because they always said you had to be strong and being honest I thought I was pretty week. The group that was there that day was a bunch of kids so there was only about 5 adults including me so I knew I had to step up and do warehouse. My job was to shovel the grains into a big bin that we place in front of the food packers to cup there food into the bag. It was easy at first but doing it for 5 hours was very hard and safe to say I was actually very sore the next day. I really enjoyed volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, It really confirmed what I wanted to do for my career…
