Atticus and Alexandra are very interesting characters. They inspire us greatly, mainly Atticus as
he is a big role in the story. Alexandra, however, is a pretty important part to the story, as
Atticus’s sister. They both have many similarities, giving that they’re brother and sister, but they
mostly have differences between them. Atticus has many people people that look up to him,
Alexandra not so much.
In the novel, To Kill A Mockingbird, there are two specific characters that share many

Alexandra and Atticus think differently towards people and they react to them. Atticus is a very
honest man towards anyone, especially his kids. Alexandra, on the other hand, acts very snobby
because of her wealth. While scout tries to play with Walter, Alexandra says,”Because he is trash, that’s why you can’t play with him. I’ll not have you around him, picking up his habits and learning Lord-knows-what.” She also worries about Scout becoming a tomboy. While Atticus thinks
