Similarities
Although, these tribes are different they have a lot in common. For instance, they all make art. Inuit make masks, that often portray spirits. The Haida carve totem poles. Sioux have moccasins, which are shoes that they weve. Another example, is that they all hunt for food or for sport. Sometimes there was enough food for a whole family to survive for a year. Haida have unique homes. The tribe lives in permanent houses, because the weather is steady enough, so they don’t have to migrate. Haida also build totem poles next to the houses. The Haida tribe has a lot of arts. The make huge totem poles of animals. Haida also, has a transformation mask for metamorphosis. Copper masks show sign of wealth. Haida are fascinating people.
The Sioux are different The last tribe is the Sioux, which is a special group of skilled people.
Sioux are one of the best hunting tribes. They hunt buffaloes, lynx, coyotes, elk, and wolves. Sioux kill with tomahawks, bow and arrows, and coup sticks. The Sioux’s clothings are unique as well. All of their clothings are made from visions. They make comfy shoes, called moccasins and also, wove gloves. Sioux were long deerskin leggings to protect their legs from bites and tall sawgrass. The Sioux live in Alberta and Manitoba. These places are grassy, so there are a lot of deer and game. They live in Tipis, because of these conditions.
