Compare And Contrast Nucleus And Cell Organelles
The Nucleus: In the kingdom the nucleus is the king. The nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle found in the center of the cell that contains all of the genetic information, and DNA and controls the rest of the cell. To the kingdom the nucleus is the king because of how he controls the kingdom and is responsible for the wealth of the town through his actions. Additionally not all cells have a nucleus. Just as not all kingdoms have a king. The Nuclear Envelope: The nuclear envelope is similar to the king’s castle in the kingdom. The nuclear envelope is a double-layer membrane enclosing the nucleus. In the kingdom the nuclear envelope is the castle because it surrounds and protects the nucleus, just like the castle surrounds and protects the …show more content…
The cell is a rigid outer layer composed of cellulose that is found in plant cells which shapes, supports, and protects the cell. The kingdom wall is similar to the cell wall because it gives the kingdom its shape and structure. It also protects the kingdom from intruders and unwanted people. Just like how the cell wall provides protection and support. The Cell Membrane: The cell membrane is similar to the kingdom guards that watch the gates. The cell membrane is a semipermeable barrier that encloses the cytoplasm of the cell. Its job is to regulate what goes in and out of the cell and prevents certain materials from entering. The cell membrane is like the gate guards because they monitor the entrance and regulate who comes in and out, protecting the kingdom from potential harm that may come to the kingdom, just like how the cell membrane regulates what travels in and out of the cell.
Cytoplasm: The Cytoplasm is like the empty land of the kingdom. Cytoplasm is a gel-like substance that fills the entire interior of a cell, which seals the extra space and helps the organelles stay in place. The cytoplasm is like the empty land the within the kingdom because they separate each part of the kingdom and keeps buildings and people in

is something that lets some things in and some things out of the cell. It is an outer cover for the cell. If the cell membrane was non existences the cell would spill all over the place. Its function is to protect the integrity of the interior of the cell by allowing certain substances into the cell, while keeping other substances out. It is composed of a thin, double-layered sheet of lipids, around the Cell and is a protective membrane layer around every Cell.…

Cell membrane is a thin, elastically, living semi permeable membrane so it controls what goes in and out of the cells. Cell membrane is also made up of two layers of lipids with protein molecules between them which are called phospholipids bilayer. The outer side of each layers is hydrophobic (water hating) while the inward facing lipid chain that touch the water are hydrophilic (water-loving). Phospholipids act as building blocks of the biological cell membranes in virtually all organisms.…

Cell membrane- The cell membrane is a thin semi-permeable membrane that surrounds the cytoplasm of a cell. Its function is to protect the integrity of the interior of the cell by allowing certain substances into the cell, while keeping other substances out. It also serves as a base of attachment for the cytoskeleton in some organisms and the cell wall in others. Thus the cell membrane also serves to help support the cell and help maintain its shape.…

Cell Membrane- The cell membrane controls what enters and what leaves the cell, while also protecting it. This is like the water surrounding the island of our small town because the water causes difficulty in things entering or leaving the town, nothing can enter the town without being on a boat or driving over the bridge.…

Nucleus; The cell nucleus acts like the brain of the cell which helps control the eating, movement, and reproduction of the cell. The main function of the cell nucleus is to control gene expression and mediate the replication of DNA during the cell cycle. The nuclear envelope surrounds the nucleus and all of its contents. The nuclear envelope is a membrane similar to the cell membrane around the whole cell.…

The large, darker purple circle in the centre of each cell is a nucleus. The nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle which contains the genetic information, and indicates that the cell is a eukaryotic cell and thus either an animal or plant cell. The cell also has a cell membrane, which is a phospholipid bilayer separating the cell from the surrounding environment and controlling the passage of substance into and out of the cell, but no cell wall. Thus, it is an animal cell as animal cells are the only cells that consistently do not have a cell wall.…
