Compare And Contrast Nurture And Identical Twins

Have you ever wondered why you act the way you do? This is the nature vs. nurture debate, and has been going on for years and years. The nature is the side that states that we are the way we are due to genetics, and the nurture side states that we are who we are due to the environment we grow up in. Of course nurture has a big hold on how we grow up, but nature truly is the stronger of the two. Identical twins, for example, have more similarities than differences, and we truly stay who we are throughout our lives. So all in all, studies show how the nature side has more effect on a child than the nurture side does. I know that nature has a stronger hold on a child than nurture does. Identical twins can have some differences, because they aren’t the same person, so normally they are more alike than different. The Miller and Menez twins were raised together, and they still have the similar personalities. The Menez twins both love, and are excellent at gymnastics. Of course I have changed a little bit since a baby, but I am still the same deep down. I know for a fact that nurture is important to raising a child, and that is true, but nature helps shape how people turn out too.
