The decision as to which faction they would each represent was only slightly difficult to resolve. Romeo is shown to be very easily swayed by other people and his own emotions and is very passionate with everything he does. This makes him a better fit for the Sith faction than Juliet would be, as she is far more moderate and willing to work within the existing social conventions and laws of her environment (e.g. getting married before sleeping together). Red and black for the Sith faction was a given, but I debated for a time between an earthy green and pale blue for the Jedi. While, in the Star Wars setting, green has several connotations between the Jedi, nature, and peace, and the fact that green and red are complementary colors made it appealing, I couldn’t get passed the vaguely Christmassy vibe they always give off when paired together. Blue, however, may be even more appropriate theatrically and thematically, as blue and red are often seen as opposites (despite the inaccuracy of that conception) and are still appealing paired together.
