“Where they differed was that while Sparta had a strong military values.Where Athens were democratic states”stated mrs.Duck worth in the Passage Athens and Sparta. Spartan women more free unlike Athan women. Asking women had to do chores they cooked and cleaned they also could not on land.

Sparta was content to keep to itself. They also provided military strength to other city states. For example in the Persian war. They did help very much in the battle marathon.They did defend from a sneak attack.

Sparta was really strong. They felt safe with strong military force. The Spartans headstrong land military but the naval military was not so strong. That’s why they teamed up with Athens during the Persian war because Athens has a strong
