The vanquishers and the conquered were both impacted by many aspects the search for wealth. The European expansion lead to economic growth for those that set out for new lands. However, the natives lost a majority of their assets due to European’s take what they find attribute. An exquisite case of this is in that of the Spanish conquistador, Francisco Pizarro, who overthrew the Incas and achieved great riches from his endeavors. This resulted in the devastation and ruin of native cultures, land, and economy. As Europeans explored the world and subjugated new lands for economic benefits, they also annihilated the new found inhabitants culture.
This is clearly shown as the English ventured into the New World. They found new land, people, and agriculture, and took all of it without consider the repercussions of their actions. The consequence of their deeds was the complete destruction of an unknown natives culture, and the reconfiguration of their own in the place of it. Although the natives suffered greatly from interacting with Europeans, they both gained in new materials and goods from each other's residence. The Columbian exchange occurred during the exploration period and resulted in Europeans gaining corn, chocolate, and potatoes, and the New World was introduced to horses, cattle, and wheat. Both the conquered and the conquerors gained new products and agricultural goods. However, the Europeans left immense carnage wherever they

The Exploration of new lands resulted in the accrual of wealth for Europeans and the destruction of indigenous cultures along their path of expansion. Even though the natives mostly lost in their interactions with Europeans, they both received new items from each other and sadly, but surely, they both were affected greatly by diseases provided by each other.
