The purpose of this project is to compare the financial and environmental, social and corporate governance performance of Rhodes Food Group and Pioneer Foods, and to determine which company is best for investees to invest in. We chose Pioneer Foods and Rhodes Food Group as we were interested in the different long-term ESG and financial performance strategies that each of these dominant businesses focused on. The consumer goods sector also interested us as they ae the providers of some of the food we eat. It is also interesting to see how these companies give back to the community instead of focusing on profits as corporate social responsibility is a big factor in business today.
