In The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse fable and in The Fox and the Grapes fable, Aesop uses two different animals which show comparable characteristics. The most remarkable characteristic is the lack of courage to affront a danger. In The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse fable, after the country mouse had heard how his friend lives in the town, with all the comfort of the town, the country mouse wished to get the opportunity to enjoy the luxury life described by his friend. His ardent desire, led him to ask his friend to go with him in the town.
