Comparing Flowers For Algernon: Book And Movie

The story Flowers for Algernon has both similarities and differences with the film version Charly, such as Dr. Strauss, Miss Kinnian, and Charly. In the film version Charly and Flowers for Algernon, Dr Strauss has the same personality. A Dr. Strauss is the same person because in the film version Charly and flowers for Algernon Dr Strauss is nice, caring and cares about Charly very much. In the film version Charly, it shows that Charly, acts a little different than the Flowers for Algernon. Charly is different between the film and the story because in the film it showed Charly get smarter a lot faster, compared to the story. Unfortunately, Miss Kinnian seems nice in the film and the story, but one difference is that, in Flowers for Algernon,
the author describes her in a different way then the film version Charly. In the Flowers for Algernon Miss Kinnian is a teacher who helps kids with reading and writing, but In the film version Charly, it shows Dr. Strauss as a teacher instead of Miss Kinnian. In conclusion, Flowers for Algernon and the film version Charly have similarities and differences, and in my opinion I think it's a good thing they have differences because that means we have to complete two different stories to read.
