longer they would have decided that, but life decided on its own to let Augustus rest in peace.
The happiness that fairy tales made us believe as young children, such as the love story of Cinderella or how a handsome prince came to Aurora rescue; the chances of having a fairy tale life is impossible, ever for the real world princess and prince. we all grow up with fairly tale endings. even with their 'perfect' ending their story will eventually come to a halt. Love shouldn’t be flawless figure, it should have errors, mistakes, bruises that heal, and full of happiness. Everyone deserves a chance to love someone, to cherish them, even for a short period of time, even when they have faults.
“The world,” he said “is not a wish granting factory,” (Ch. 13) Augustus is losing in his battle, he explains to Hazel that life is unfair that everything happens for a reason. The feeling that I have with this specific quote is that how life is. You don’t always get what you want. The main reason of the game of life is to survive as long as possible, but we all lose at the end, some lose the battle before others; that everything happens for a reason.
“Some infinites are bigger than other infinities… You gave me a forever within the numbered days” (Ch. 20) Love is immortal it can’t be killed if it truly there, if a force comes and destroys it then it’s not love. A forever only takes a few moments in the most unexpected time. I adore this quote on how there might be a tragedy, but you’ll always remember it because of how special it is. The number of days doesn’t matter, nor does time.
“You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world...but you do have some say in who hurts you.
I like my choices." Augustus is saying that you don't get to decide wither or not you get hurt, its inevitable. That's life. But though he understands that he will get hurt, he wants to choose who hurts him, or at least try and choose. He then says that he likes his choices, that means that he choose Hazel, so if anyone was to hurt him, he would like it to be Hazel Grace.
“Pain depends to be felt” (Ch. 4) When I was in a crisis that was unbearable. I was full of pain to the point where if I kept in it hurts even more. It demanded me to feel it. I started cutting it took the pain of the crisis and made me pay attention to the blood. In a way it made me relief, but it wasn’t the right way to do it. I eventually stop.
“They don’t kill you unless you lit them… you put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don’t give it the power to do its killing.” (ch..1) This uses metaphors, the fire represents the power, but he takes that power away from the cigarette by not lighting it. this quote to me …show more content…
applies
to everyday life; nothing really kills you not unless you let them do so. I learned this the hard way by letting a force kill me from the inside. Later I realized that I shouldn’t I’m just letting him hurt me without putting up a barrier. I gave him access to me weaknesses without actually letting him. Now I’m more alive than the moment I first came to this world.
“The Fault in Our Stars” exercises the thought that being alive is the most wonderful feeling even though they may be fighting with internal problems such as cancer. Live as if it were your last day on this beloved earth. Cherish every breathing moment, because it could be your last without even knowing. Life is unpredictable and there are many dark turns, wicked twists, but through all that hole of darkness there a single ray of sun, which represents the happiness, the memorable moments that last a lifetime, will shine through eventually. "There will come a time when all of us are dead. all of us. there will come a time when there are no human beings remaining to remember that anyone ever existed or that our species ever did anything" People always think that they have a horrible past, but that only happens for a reason that it will become important later on, that what makes a person stronger; that they must let go what happened.
Love doesn’t happen Cinderella style, nor any other fairy tale way. What people role play in the mind never goes that way. Love is not supposed to be perfect. There is no fairy tale ending. Tragedies are impossible to predict, and how much they affect your life. Live life to the fullest, even through you stuck in a hole make the best out of the situation, you’ll learn something new and it could have been worse. Not every human being has the same opportunities. Keep living and making the best out of the every situation. There’s always going to be a little rain to make a rainbow. Living is the best gift that you’ll ever receive in your lifetime. Enjoy the little things in life, such as tea, food, the air that we all share. “Learn to appreciate what you have before time forces you to appreciate what you had.”
One of the major conflict in the novel "The Fault in Our Stars" was that Hazel and Augustus are both suffering from different forms of cancer.
Hazel lungs are filled with fluids which make it hard for her to breath without and oxygen tank. Augustus on the other hand has lost a leg during his battle to cancer, he now uses a prosthetic leg on a daily basis. Most of the main characters have cancer or deal with it on the daily basis. Cancer affects many people everyday, it tears millions of families apart daily. Hazel and Gus have a romantically tragedy story. The teens fall in love despite that they are ill. Love has flaws, there will never be a real world love story that is flawless or perfect. The young teens struggle with their health but that does not stop them from falling in love with one another. They have there own way special way of
loving.
Cancer is not only their struggle; millions are affected every year. some are deadly, other have cures, some don’t, others you have to take risk. Life and death are always on the line. Whether you live cancer free or you have consequences. I've seen many people that I love died. It truly leave a scar that will never heal. cancer is a demon that will never be killed and it will continue to affect innocent families.
So in conclusion live life to the fullest, let go of the past, make the best out of horrible events. Live in the present. Hazel wasn’t doing that in the beginning of the novel, not until after she met Augustus and that when the time of her life began. She made the bets out of the situation and it turned out to be the best thing in the world “There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world because you realize there’s so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on."
