Both stories have one thing in common and that’s the location.
In a forest it’s (Being in a forest is) often a mysterious experience that could leave you in peril. Goldilocks travels rogue and stumbles upon a house secluded in the woods. She then decides to enter it and mess up the peaceful house of the bears. On the other hand, Little Red goes on a mission to help her Grandmother. Moreover, she is warned about Wicked Old Wolf, and (but) she doesn't take her time to get there. Little Red is the ideal innocent girl in this with a purpose. They both decide to go on by themselves, but you can see it leaning more from one side to
another. Afterwards, the girls end up at a house. To Goldilocks she enters the house unaware of what’s on the other side. Stealing food, breaking chairs, and violating the bears’ home as Goldilocks takes advantage of them. Meanwhile, we have Little Red gleefully skipping to her Grandmother’s home. When she gets there a wolf is waiting. She decided to ask questions…acting carefully. Wolf attacks and she’s able to run for help. Does Goldilocks enter the house carefully? No, she’s guilty of breaking and entering in this imaginary world. Luckily, the bears were kind and didn’t eat her, because she would've been in for a treat. These characters have a similar story with a lesson that can be interpreted in many ways. Poor decisions can lead you into bad circumstances. They were both screaming in the face of danger. Goldilocks and Little Red have in common. Little Red was lucky the Lumberjack to her rescue. We got (have) Goldilocks over here running for her life; the stories ends with her running off to never return, learning her lesson in the end. This is an example of fight or flight for them. You have them acting in fear as they decide to scream in terror. This shows the emotion behind the characters. They can be considerate as well as in their right minds to flee. Not to mention both stories had a happy ending, but it was one more then the other. These stories have survived after hundreds of years. The plot of the stories are full of choices. Mood throughout the story changes as it goes on in the story. Goldilocks can come across to many as if she doesn't know what she did was wrong. Little Red sets a good example on what to do. She went straight to the house. The characters Little Red and Goldilocks have traveled some distance for a task. Even then` the decisions, problems, and characters make them have different motives.
