Many factories out there will benefit the employees and not taking advantage of them. Marx, on the other hand, thinks differently because employees are working so hard, but the wages are not high enough and it is unfairly paid. Karl Marx, Andrew Ure, and Adam Smith have all different views of the society, however Marx is more convincing because his idea make more sense to many people in the society.
There are good and bad things happen in history and that is the life of the people in this world. There is no such thing having a perfect life because there is always something offline. Marx believed that mankind was moving forward and never behind in their resource, however working class was getting paid unfairly for the work they have done. Industries are taking advantages of their employees and they do not get any benefits out of it. Even when the capitalism is improving, the wages did not improve the prosperity in the community. Factory work is so much “hard work is performed by the steam engine, no hard labor at all” (228). I am against Ure ideology because doesn’t mean if technology is helping you do the labor, that does that mean you are benefiting from the employer. It is about being there at your job and doing what you are supposed to be doing. In today’s life, it is about doing your job and you will be getting pay hourly and it is not about how much work you put on the job. Ure point is not helping the society improve and it will just make more people suffer. I think certain people are meant for certain jobs in the society and not everyone can do that job. People are different in the society and Ure is complaining about how factory jobs are a lot easier than skilled workers who have to use their muscle all day long. The skilled jobs are getting paid a lot than people in the factory job and that would be their benefits. It doesn’t matter if factory job barely does anything because of technology such as the steam engine; it is about the type of job that will pay you well enough to stay alive. He thought the factory worker would
