The decades of 60s and 70s saw dynamic world-wide growth of electronic media which produced so-called “information technology”. The idea using mass media grew out from the belief that media has and extraordinary power to change the human behavior. Many communication experts began to advocate the use of mass media for accelerating the transfer of technology and information. The role of media is now changed to more developed and modern way of conveying technologies. This new media technology such as ICT change the way we used to communicate and how the citizens received news compare to the old newspaper that took a very long time to reach certain places such as the rural areas. But comparing to now the way we send news is just more fast and efficient than newspapers since you can access it nearly anywhere. At the same time rather than a lot of cost producing newspapers and delivering to other parts of the a country or a nation took a lot of cost and energy but with steady and generous increase in telecommunication bandwidth fuelled by the widespread deployment of fiber optics cables, satellites, and wireless technologies, made it easier to and cheaper to share information globally and to communicate directly at long distance at ease. In the point of view of social change the mass media of today have cause fundamental changes in human perspectives. Communication theorist Marshall Mcluhan, says that due to the changes in the current communication the way we receive information was less spontaneous communication, an alienation among individuals because with electronic, visual media like television which engage numerous senses and require less cerebral participation than reading, McLuhan saw a return of communication more consistent than human nature. Not many have the same idea as McLuhan but an agreement that the mass media affects society. From the cultural point of view in ICTs, there are also a few numbers
