As stated above O.J killed Nicole with his own hands and is the direct cause of her death. Macbeth's wife Lady Macbeth perished from suicide(Shakespeare, 5 - 5, 8 - 28) but was only driven to do so from having no outlet to deal with Macbeth's heinous acts. In a way Macbeth is a cause of his wife's death but nowhere near as directly a cause to her death as O.J was to Nicole's death. Macbeth was Thane of Cawdor (Shakespeare, 1 - 3, 70 - 78) before he became power hungry and even had the king of Scotland's respect under Macbeth's belt. In fact he respected Macbeth so much that he allowed himself to spend the night in Macbeth's castle (Shakespeare, 1 - 7, 75 - 77). Prior to O.Js crimes he was a record shattering football star and small time actor. They both led lives that for a time made many jealous however all good things must come to an end as they all do and after these men committed murder most people stopped looking up to
