The importance of the greenhouse effect and the demand for saving energies make the air conditioner manufacturer to focus more on the new kind of products- energies saving products and environmental friendly but better performance. Cooling’s competitors are the famous brands from all over the world. Panasonic, Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Chinese air conditioner counterfeit in the Vietnamese market.
 Panasonic: One of the strongest brands in the world coming from Japan. Vietnam is one of the three markets with India and Indonesia behind China has the strong sales of room air conditioner in Asia in 2011 (Panasonic annual report 2011). They have many products such as Panasonic, Sanyo with excellent features and high quality to make the customer feel pleasure. Recently, Panasonic has changed their product to the energy conservation products to respond the new consumer’s trend. Econavi technology help customers save energy, LCD modern remote, super antibacterial filter, the air filter E-Ion Advanced Plus technology are the remarkable features of Panasonic products.
 Daikin: The huge Japanese company centralizes on producing air conditioner with high quality and stability can adapt many standards. The Daikin air conditioners have just joined into the Vietnamese market since 2008. However, depends on their reputation, products and marketing campaigns, they gain a considerable market share and continue to increase their profits. Their product are famous for the fast cold-making technology, smoothly working engine and easy to clean. Also, Daikin air conditioner has a flat and nice design to attract the customers.
 Mitsubishi: Mitsubishi is the huge group in Japan always pays their attention on the new technologies and modern products. Mitsubishi product focus on the middle and high income customers.
