2 in E-flat, op. 87 by Antonin Dvorak. It was broken down into four movements. The first movement was called Allegro con fuoco. I thought the style was interesting, and I really appreciated the dynamics. The movement went back and forth between being tense and sounding sorrowful. However, I wanted the ending to be more dramatic and big. The second movement was called Lento. This movement was much calmer and slower than the first. However, it did not hold my attention as well as the first movement. The end of this movement was intriguing though, and I did like the increase in tempo from earlier in the movement. The very end was very pretty as well. The third movement was called Allegro moderato, grazioso. This movement was alright. It had a faster tempo than Lento and was very light at the beginning. Towards the middle it made me think of a horse race almost. The fourth movement was Finale. Allegro ma non troppo. I thought this was the best movement of the piece. I liked the faster tempo and the intensity at the beginning. I thought the moments of relaxation throughout the movement added an interesting contrast to the intense parts.
