Conflict is part of our lives and might many of us were born in conflict. In the world, everyone faces conflict but may in different ways. Conflicts in our society come in many forms. It can be physical, verbal, internal, domestic, local, international, and social and it can be widespread or limitted. Although, conflict can raise for many reasons, one of the main reasons is ‘ignorance’. It can be seen through many societies and throughout history. Ignorance can create conflicts between people that lead to war, religious disagreement and racism. These are the most obvious aspects of conflict that people may face in their everyday life.
War is the major part of conflict between nations, countries and people. War can be caused by many reasons; however ignorance is the most significant ground. For example in Afghanistan, about four decades ago a group of people without education and knowledge made troops to fight against Russian who invited Afghanistan. The idea of fighting with them and get them out from their land was the right decision but the way they took the action was wrong. Then when the Russian left Afghanistan, the Mojahedin took power and since then the civil war began which costed million people’s lives. In Afghanistan there are four ethnic groups and they are against each other. During fighting with Russian, they divided into four groups and became enemy of one another. After they took power the leader of each group wanted to be the leader of the country. They were uneducated and didn’t have the knowledge to manage the country that involved violence to certain extent with people being killed. For instance through explosions many young men were killed, children were killed or lost their legs and arms that became disable and millions of people were displaced. It is clear that these groups were absolutely ignorance.
