Conformity To Society

In today’s society is not acceptable for people to change their perceptions, opinions, and behavior in order to conform to what is consistent and popular in society. However until what point should another person's influence change our decisions and personality, and judge society predicated off of their own personal liking. This can be visually perceived from everyday society when people base their taste of clothing and jewelry off of someone famous just because they believe that person’s opinion and taste is more valuable than their own. Although it is always nice to stay connected within society, a person’s originality and decisions should never be based on another person's opinion. This conformity toward society is similar to choosing your style of wardrobe based off of others, however due to the judgement of others rather than clothing it is based on brand and devices. By making people buy or get a certain type of item or product because people think it’s better forces people to be stripped of their own opinion and conform to be like others.For example this can be seen almost everyday in life as people judge you based off what type of things you own, or the type of brand you have. This conformity to society has placed an ideal on what people believe is good and what is not good, and set a standard to force people into getting more expensive things. Such as the Playstation Console although there are two different consoles that do the exact same functionality, just because one of them is newer and more expensive society believes that console is technically what people should get. This conformity to society causes individuals to waste money and buy things based off what others believe you should buy, and put others down that are not capable of getting the new console.However even though it is nice to get the best thing available on the market, we should never choose what we want based off what other opinions and society
