intelligence. People who strive to become competent in several tasks and career options are considered to have special cerebral gifting. Benjamin Franklin was a politician, scientist/inventor and somewhat of a philosopher,”postman and civic activist “(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Franklin). There are also people who have great talent in a broad area of a subject.Mozart a world famous musician, could play Violin and piano, harpsichord and viola, harp and flute all extremely well. He also knew several languages in addition to his musical talent. Acquiring multiple trades is beneficial to one's life.If One was an absolute expert at only one trade, he would only be able to complete a certain task and lose out on many things in life. If one can do several tasks, like fix their car, or electronic device repairs their house having a general idea of construction, have adequate financial capabilities, cook, and do the many things life requires, a lot of money will be saved and they will learn valuable skills as well. A person would be quite intelligent even if they only knew enough to get the job done. The spectrum of tasks one can do plays into an aspect of intelligence.
Wisdom should be put first in the realm of intelligence.
There are several wise people who have been considered intelligent. Socrates was considered wise as he was able to think about cause-effect situations and discern what decisions would be the best in the current situation. Solomon is by some considered to be the wisest person who lived, despite his many terrible actions. In The book of Kings Solomon is able to discern many situations presented to him like when he knew the woman who was willing to let the child go to live was truly hers. He also wrote much of proverbs which many consider having wise statements. Similarity Confucius also had written several wise saying which one can apply to their lives.Wisdom is a definite form of intelligence as without it plain cerebral computer type actions can be negative. An idea may seem logical, but is it really worth the risk. Certain statements may seem like the most intelligent, logical idea, but could it hurt someone's feelings. One should also be able to see ahead as best as possible being able to judge what the outcome may result. If one only is in the moment they may fail to see an action's effect on theirs or someone's future. By gleaning from past history one can gain wisdom from others and initiate wisdom themselves, which is quite …show more content…
insightful.
One may regard intellect as one's ability to effectively solve problems.Historys problem solvers have been regarded as highly intelligent and have shaped our lifestyles and how we think today. Copernicus was able to see beyond one's perspective on earth of how the heavens were places, to discover that indeed the planets and sun do not revolve around the earth but we with them around the sun. Isaac Newton made monumental discoveries, regarding gravity, motion light, and math.Euclid's work with geometry brought understanding to our idea of space and mass. Edison work with electricity generated hundreds of patents, due to his hard work and ability to see that great things could be done with resources available to him. Following suite in the mindset of these people will aid our decision making and pursuits in life. Being able to see past the norm, looking outside of the box, and seeking to more simply define laws of nature and mathematics lead to exceptional question and problem-solving. Even if problem-solving isn't ones gifting, everyone does it.Each action we take our brain analyses the situation and acts upon it.People who have excelled in these areas have gained recognition by many.
Can then one define intelligence in a concentrated definition?
Mostly: the word has so many indications to a broad spectrum of intellectual outputs, but one can think of Intelligence as using one's full brain capacity and to effectively, efficiently and ethically respond to whatever life presents us with, striving to retain knowledge in the process. No matter knowledgeable or logical or quick minded one is. If they are putting full effort into a given task or mental process should be regarded as intelligence. If mentally difficult things in life come easy for someone, then they are just being themselves. While credit is due to their efforts and gifting, there is no superiority of their brain capacity than of someone who had gifting elsewhere.Even if one is highly intelligent.if they use it to slight others, than it should be considered unintelligent-though it could be called crafty.Morality is linked with intelligence, if one had lazy inclinations it would suppress one's true ability.Trying ones hardest is the best one can do, not trying what we are currently only willing to put forth, but what we know we can achieve. If one excels in their talents and strives to improve in other areas, they will be intelligent. With this mentality no matter how large or small ones, mental capacity is, one will be able to achieve their best, which can not be considered as
less.
Talents, which broaden our abilities and stretch the limitation if the mind, used with the skill of analysing problems increasing one's understanding of the world , using logic to aid thoughts, guided by wisdom; being able to see consequences and learn from the past and understanding troublesome questions in the world, are all considered intelligent. They are achieved by putting full effort into a situation using one's cerebral capacity to the best of one's ability, will result in one's intelligence, which is high, no matter the output.
