I will start by looking at how Spiderman is driven by guilt to be a hero, after the death of his Uncle Ben, that could have completely been avoided. Spiderman realised what his uncle told him “with power comes with great responsibility”. He was a normal teen with daily problems but still stopped crime every day. This movie is about a young skinny solider who was enhanced to human perfection using a steroid injection, which he helped America win world war II. Captain America shows great heroism in being loyal and noble to his country. Captain America was doubted about his ability to be a solider but he didn’t once give up nor turn his back on his country. This can be seen in a quote Red Skull: “You could have the power of the gods! Yet you wear a flag on your chest and think you fight a battle of nations! I have seen the future, Captain! There are no flags!” Captain America: Not my future! This quote helps us see that Captain America knew he had power but never put himself higher than anyone else this can also be seen with the quote Red Skull: “What makes you so special?” Captain America: “Nothing. I'm just a kid from Brooklyn”. He also showed his true hero when he sacrificed his life for New York City by manually crashing a bomb, which would destroy the city. You can also say that captain America is linked to nationalism. Captain America’s morals is used to represent USA to show that USA is a powerful nation. His name Captain America and flag related suit are symbols which America use to based themselves as a great nation because of how captain America acts. Peggy is part of the army and has been working with Captain America since his advancement injection. she has showed loyalty to captain America. Even though their love for each other is strong they cannot create a relationship as they are both heroes. The complexity of the relationship cannot work as they are both are called to serve their country which wouldn’t allow them time to establish, nor the fact that they are both at high risks of dying in war. In the end we can see that it wouldn’t work as Captain America had to crash the plane to save the
