One dangerous outcome is “stoned driving.” Stoned driving is when people are driving with a high. Researchers say driving while stoned is a good deal more dangerous than people think. Researchers say that people that smoke marijuana while driving are at more risk to swerving into to others lane. Another con of legalizing marijuana is the damage it does to people's body. It damages the brain by causing memory loss. When you have smokes the marijuana it is harder for the brain to have memories and makes it harder for the brain to concentrate. Blood vessels in the brain experience restricted flow which causes the memory loss. The blood vessels continue to do so after months of absence from the drug. Smoking the drug would cause poor lung health, marijuana has twice the carcinogens than tobacco. This is caused by marijuana smokers inhaling deeper than cigarette smokers. When people breathe in the smoke deeper it causes more of the chemicals that cause cancer to come into the body.
