The chemical release and networking of the brain and the patients body functions have a huge role when using music therapy. Each song or sound is able to stimulate certain areas of the brain. This from of therapy is still not one-hundred percent agreeable for many of people. There are still many unanswered questions along with missing factual evidence in therapeutic practice, and some doctors still question how efficient it is. There is the argument that music therapy is over priced. Most sessions last from forty-five minutes to an hour long. The prices can range anywhere from seventy-five dollars a visit, varying anywhere from five-hundred dollars and more. Music therapy isn't a quick visit to the doctors and then the patient is healed. These sessions take time to show improvement upon the patient. This is a problem for most people. When undergoing more of a "normal" therapeutic session many therapist are able to recommend medication if need be. Medication is able to act as a quick fix, more then less a temporary crutch until the problem is solved. Music therapy isn't a form of therapy that relies on medication, instead of solely the music in
