Consequences Of Chosin Reservoir In The Korean War

The consequences of my choices are shown throughout the books and short stories you read. You may not know this, but authors think hard about what they want their audience to see and read. But you don't always get a happy, good message. In Chosin Reservoir in the Korean War, the soldiers there were having problems. They didn't have enough food, warmth, or amo. This ammo they used to have was nicknamed ‘tootsie rolls’. The telephone worker decided amo was most important and called in for more of these ‘tootsie rolls’. But they didn't get amo. They got tootsie rolls. This may seem like a stupid idea on the telephone workers part and seems like they would get a bad consequence for their choice. Events like this happen in books all the time. Teaching us that the choices we make could come to bless us or to curse us. The consequences of our choices are shown to us through literature. And to prove it i will show example shown through “The Necklace” and the text “The Tell Tale Heart”. In these I will point out the lesson of ‘The choices we make have consequences’ in the characterization, the theme, and the plot.

Then later in the story says “I have-- I have-- I’ve lost Madame Forstier’s necklace.” Her husband was kind to her, and she was greedy and thought nothing way good enough for her. In the story “The Tell Tale Heart” The main character was mad- crazy. So through the stopry he grows more and more dangerous. But he made the decision to kill the old man. “ ‘I loved the old man’ ” The text said, “ ‘He had never wronged me. He had never given me invest.” The old man died that day, and the police came for the mad man. He was so clam in the beginning, but became distressed and scared in the presence of the police.
