1.0 Introductory part

1.1 Introduction:
Financial statements are a structured representation of the financial position and financial performance of an entity. The objective of financial statements is to provide information about the financial position, financial performance and cash flows of an entity that is useful to a wide range of users in making economic decisions. Financial statements also show the results of the management's stewardship of the resources entrusted to it.

BRAC Bank is one of the large private Bank of Bangladesh. It was founded to reach the large number of unbanked people which were not covered by traditional bank. The main concept of the bank was to facilitate Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). Since then the Bank has become a leading bank in Bangladesh, keeping its core focus on SME yet becoming one of country’s leading financial hypermarkets.

1.2 Objectives of the Study:
We have categorizes our objective for this report into two categories one is broad objective and another is specific objectives. Broad and specific objective includes-

Broad objective: “To know the Corporate Financial Reporting System of BRAC Bank”

Specific objectives:
To know the concept and significance of Financial Reporting System.
To know the major objective of Financial Reporting System.
To know about the major components of Financial and Management Reporting System.
To know the attribute of Financial Reporting System.
To find out the user groups of the financial Report.
To know about the periodicity of Reporting.

1.3 Source of data
There are mainly two sources to collect the information. To do all these things we need much information. Therefore, we have collected this information from the primary and as well as secondary sources to complete our report.
(a) Primary sources:
Face to face conversation with a financial manager of BRAC Bank.
(b) Secondary Sources:
Required information was collected mainly from the secondary sources. The
