Courage To Do The Right Thing

“When stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you.” (Unknown) Many people get scored to show their courage for the right thing. What gives you and your peers to do the right thing with courage? Your peers and yourself do have courage because people do have that someone in life, that helps encourage them. It's just buried inside and you need to show people you're courage to do the right thing. People just don’t want to disappoint anyone.

In this short story, “Thank You Ma’am” by Langston Hughes, is about how this women encourages the boy to do the right thing. Ms, Jones, the women, wanted to help him get a better life than what he had before. The boy did try to steal her purse but she taught him a lesson, so now he won't do that to someone else. Rodger, the boy, got taken care of by this kind women. She gave him food and let him clean up. At the ending of this short story, Rodger shows that he’s building courage to do
These four football players do have the courage to do the right thing. These players do the right thing because someone in their lives is helping them. The grocery store security caught video of these four young men getting into Buddy’s (A grocery store). The store manager was thinking they broke in but that changed her point of view. The players all grabbed what they needed and set the money on the counter, then left. Those four men went to another store and told them that Buddy’s was unlocked. Then the store called the police on them. These young men never got arrested for it and they all got an reward. In the end of this passage, it's saying you can’t judge a book by its cover. Also these four football players shared out, who encouraged them to do the right thing. It states, “ These four young men had that someone when it mattered most.” I think these four football players learned that doing the right thing, helps them do great things in
