Amidst the horror, stood two black shapeless figures. They blended into the night with dark clothing. The two glanced at a pile of dirt piled together as if to bury something, something so very deep and dark, something that should never be discovered. Something that had enough …show more content…
Lennie looked down to Curley's hand. The once broken hand which was missing had soon been replaced with a new stitched one after George's death. He patted the, ever so familiar but at the same time strange, hand.
Upon the sudden contact Curley pulled his hand back. “I thought you said we couldn't touch. You said that you weren't allowed to touch my hand and I wasn't allowed to touch you with it,” Curley cried- the fear in his voice could even be heard by the dead.
“Nothing will happen,” Lennie stated. The two of them looked around at their surrounding just to make sure. However the pair both missed the figure that held out a bloody arm, with a missing hand, by yet again a mere fraction.

You dismissed them all and acted indifferent hoping they weren't true. But you knew. Lennie you knew. That's how I came back to you- I used your fear. I killed people Lennie. The look of fear in their eyes! I fed off it. I fed off it the same why I'm feeding off yours.” Stated George matter of factly. “I'm back now. Not in my own body,” he groaned whilst patting Curley's body feeling the light dent of the Vaseline, which he puts onto his hand, in his pocket, “but it'll have to do.”
“I'm back Lennie! The tables will turn. You will be the victim like I had once planned. This time there will be no witnesses as this is my territory! Now answer me! Did you miss
