“Hello”,0-2 questioned,”commander?”
“Rendezvous at town square 2,”I commanded.
Hours of walking later and I’m finally in a place with other people. This place kind of reminds me of the old time square, before it was blown to bits. Now everywhere looks like it was abandoned for 30 years. I kept walking and I see 0-1 and 0-2.
“Where were you,”I said realizing something's not right.
Their eyes had a green tint. Seems normal to most people but their eyes should be gray. Then I remembered a neurotoxin from way back make people insane and give them eyes greener than grass.
“2,1 let’s get you moving to site,”
At that moment felt a nice swift swing at the back of my head. I dodged it but I didn’t see the second blow coming. I woke up to what seemed to be the outskirts of city, in a pile of huge spiders. The downside was, I was tied up. I felt like spiderman in a way, being covered with spiders. I’m gonna kill my squad when I find them. At least that is what I thought. Until I really woke up. I was in a white room when I saw the Fire Lion logo.
My current location is an enemy base in London,England. They were testing me but I broke the computer server with my response. THe lights go out and a black figure walks

He froze. That voice was one that he hadn’t heard in some time, but she always was the distinctive one. He knew that if he turned, there she would be, a tiny girl dwarfed by her own soft blue uniform, her hair flying in every possible direction. Subject-29, his greatest failure. No, not his failure, the project’s, the corrupted German DNA of her female donor, but not his own. He had tried to work with her, but some things were out of his control.…

I looked to my left then to my right, it was dark all around, except for the light emanating from the flashlight mounted on my gun. I cradled my assault rifle, it was my lifeline, if it was gone, I was dead, or worse... Alive. I heard a shriek, not from a human, but from a zombie...... I looked down the alleyway ahead it was fully dark now, I heard running footsteps behind me. I turned around as fast as I could. A blood covered zombie was running toward me, I was scared for my life. I chopped the zombie down with my rifle, the muzzle flashes lighting up the ally. Suddenly I heard the blood curdling cries of many zombie- oh no, I made to much noise. Now they were pouring in from the street into the alleyway I was in. Around forty of them were coming towards me, I turned around to try to escape.. at least five more in that direction. i sprayed the five zombies down with my gun, pulled the pin on a grenade, dropped it, and sprinted in that direction. I made it onto the street.…

Optics flickered towards the west a smile drawing itself upon the lips of the male. He adored moons such as this, known readily in the ancient world as the harvest or wolf moon, the circular orb in the sky shown such as this only twice per year; once in the spring and once in the fall during the equinox consisting of exactly 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. Such moons were both a blessing and a curse, for though they granted better light in which to hunt by it also meant the prey was able to see the predator with increased ease as there were fewer shadows in which to stalk. But it did not matter for this turn of the tables would only last so long before it moved in favor of the predator once again. When the moon was…

The station was a Russian- American comprehensive project. Vladimir Putin had come up with the idea and if it worked out, U.S. and Russian governments would announce that they were working together in an effort to put an end to the feud between them. If it didn’t work out, we all had cyanide capsules that were unknowingly put in all our throats. We had found this out when we had to jettison someone's body into space because they didn’t chew something enough, and the food had knocked it into their throat. Right now was the time that the U.S. part of the station was asleep, we rotated shifts, but nothing was very formal. People from the Russian side came and went all the time, and so did the Americans. I hoped that the Russian side was sealed so that they could live, and help us. It was foolish, but I could…

    Narrative Writing

    • 718 Words

If you choose to write a narrative, it should be a story in which either you or someone you know well was actually involved. You should avoid stories that simply recount accidents. What I mean is this: a good story needs to have the element of choice in it. If you describe an accident, you need to show that decisions led up to it. This story should be about people, about the decisions they make and the consequences that follow.…

At first, all seemed very quiet, very still, and I wondered why I had awoken. Then, with a missed heart-beat, I realized that Spider was up and standing at the door. Every hair on her body was on end, her ears were pricked, her tail erect, the whole of her tense, as if ready to spring. And she was emitting a soft, low growl from deep in her throat. I sat up paralysed, frozen in bed, conscious only of the dog and of the prickling of my own skin and of what suddenly seemed a different kind of silence, ominous and dreadful. And then, from somewhere within the depths of the house – but somewhere not very far from the room in which I was – I heard a…

That constant thought of being grabbed out of the darkness by hands. The sound of children’s laughter while in the attic. Having felt the cold breath of someone else on the back of one’s neck. A masked figure in the back of an old photo, vagueness, causing chills head to toe. Seeing a face peek out of the darkness just to watch over somebody sleeping. Walking down a dark alleyway to notice a man holding a gun. Fear, comes in many different kinds. Either being mental, as a thought inside one’s own mind, or physical, having an action happening to causing complete terror. What makes fear truly terrifying is…
