By losing that credibility of who you are, you can destroy your image. This is what happens when someone lose the credibility of their image, "A simple investigation into his past revealed a crowded graveyard of disenchanted former friends."(Ericsson 473). This is the best representation of what happens to a person when their image of who they are is revealed and now they know the truth. They lose people around that they consider friends because they don't want to stick by with a friend that constantly lies to them about who they are all the time. Another reason how they loose credibility is by losing the honesty of who they are by lying. This is what happens when a person's honesty is nothing more than a lie, “Yet for twenty years this family kept their hopes alive, unable to move on to a new life."(Ericsson 473). Another example of trust being abandoned is when they lied about something with more lies like how the church lied about the other woman before Eve in the Garden of Eden. However, this is what they replied "…demonization by ancient misogynist as an embodiment of the female evil…"(Ericsson 475). This statement states that woman the came before Eve was evil and they refused to except the truth about her. By doing that it leads other women to seek the truth about it, in which they find out it was a ploy to keep women in a weaken state. Thus loosing the church's trust over the women populous about that lead them to rebel in
