Crime is defined by norms that are formalized in law, for example murder, burglary or arson. In Emile Durkheim’s view, the understanding of people common values in society, uniting a multitude of separate individuals (Giddens, 2009). That is how the moral and behavioral standard gives a guideline of the society. When crimes happen, more rules are added and change the standard of society’s moral and behavior.
Moral is divided into two parts, personal moral and social moral. There is a fundamental difference between personal morality and social morality. Personal morality (Karl, 2007) defines how people respond to life from or within our own integrity with personal values. Social morality defines the respond of situated environment, our immediate community and the world community. Human behaviors are guided by their own sense of values.
