Thesis Statement: Abby is the most interesting character in The Crucible
Reason 1- She is a liar

In conclusion, Abigail Williams is the most interesting character in The Crucible. She is able to make elaborate lies to gain praise and get out of trouble. She also is able to manipulate those around her to get her way. Finally, she had an affair with John Proctor that sparked her hate for Elizabeth Proctor. Her jealousy of Elizabeth was the reason they began conjuring spirits in the beginning. Abigail’s lies, manipulative ways, and her affair with John Proctor were the star of the play and are the reasons why she is the most interesting
