Csi Class Reflection

CSI Class Reflection To begin, I just want to say that the overall idea of this class is just ridiculous. The fact that no other school in the entire county requires a class like this on top of the amount of stress that it puts students through is just deplorable. Not to mention that students who have other commitments besides school, such as a job, or even in my case college, have a hard time even finding the time to work on their project outside of school. Secondly, this class is just a hodge podged Civics class, so why not instead of having an entire year of civics have a year long Civics/CSI class hybrid, combine the curriculums, and dedicate time over the entire year to the CSI project? That way, you could kill two birds with one stone and also have a year-long Sociology class rather than just having it for one semester. That, and also if you were to teach the Civics/CSI hybrid class during Senior year as

The fact that local government is refusing to follow the law and protect people who are in the country illegally is completely ridiculous, and just proves how corrupt government has become.” Lastly, the one thing that needs to change is there should be no need for community service hours. With my topic, seriously for my five hours relating to my project, I watched loading screens. FOR FIVE HOURS. That and again with the busy lifestyle of some Seniors, it’s just a bigger pain in the butt than it is a learning experience. At the very least, instead of being worth 10% of the project grade, bring it down to 5%. To conclude, I believe that this class has been more trouble than what it’s worth, but could be fixed. As I outlined, I believe that there are many ways to streamline this class and make it more efficient. Although I know that hiring another teacher for the multiple viewpoints suggestion would cost a lot of money, it’d be something to think about when you or Gaustad
