When the Egyptian civilization and power was getting weaker, their art was going back to how it was when they were very strong. People in early Egypt thought that in order for someone to live in the afterlife, they should go through the process of mummification. Later on, they still believed mummification was important but they also thought that may be a body could live without the soul. This included ghosts. Language was also changing through the times of 3000BC to 500BC. It went from hieroglyphics to a new one called demotic.
2: How were men and women treated differently in ancient Egypt? When men were away, women would ran things but when men came back things would go to how they were before. They were not mostly involved in what the public did. They were not in the high positions of the country and they mostly controlled what was going on their houses. Violation was part of the Egyptian life. It was common that a man would beat his wife when she has done a mistake. But later on the Egyptian time, women could go talk to the courts against abuse. It would also take a lot of people to build it and this was so good for the workers in there. First of all the workers lived near the buildings and they had all their houses and shops in there. They would receive beer as beverage and also their food contained of grains, meat, lentils, and bread. The great pyramid of Giza took a really long time which indicates that the workers in there would benefit a lot from it. But later on the pharaohs wanted to not build any more pyramids because they were really obvious and thieves always found ways to destroy them and steal what is inside it. This made the workers to look for other jobs besides building pyramids and they wouldn’t get the same things they
