The increasing number of immigrants to Australia indicates that the school will be facing students with a variety of backgrounds. These students
coming from different countries around the world. Some of the families escaped at war countries. In many families, the tension from immigration has built up and transferred to the students. Teachers play an important role to calm down students and pay attention to their background.
Students in families with social-economical disadvantage are among the one that teachers need to be tolerated. Sometimes, these students come to school without having their breakfast or lunch. In some cases, students do not have their school stuff. However, it is arguable that to some extent teachers need to tolerate towards these issues.
I believe that teachers need to be patience in dealing with students and consider their social-economical background. Nevertheless, this tolerance should not affect their quality of teaching.
