Cultures come and go. Every country has their own culture, every city has its own culture. Every family has its own culture, and each individual on this earth has their own unique culture. This happens since people are always exposed to different cultures, helping society create their own culture. This means that there are endless amounts of cultures and everyone is affected by different cultures every day. Culture is what many hold on to and people strongly believe in, meaning that some may be close minded and will not accept other people’s different culture. The story “Żewġ saluri taraġ” by Carmel Cauchi, portrays different cultures which can be perceived between two men. The protagonist of this story is a Maltese famous book character, Mastru Gerfex.
