DBQ: Gaining Independence From Britain

As I step out of my small hut the cold hits me like a train and several of my comrades lay dead in the white snow. We gather their bodies and clothes, we could use the extra heat. The cold has maken us angry and the low supplies makes us hungry. It is a constant cycle. But with all that is happening I will stay just to fight on another day. The cause has a tight grip on me and whenever i try to leave I just want to stay more just to gain Independence from Britain.
From document A it showed that only 10% of people in this forsaken land are dying. And I have the 90% on my side to keep pressing on. Plus most of the people that are sick and dying have already gone home. I am healthy, my odds have gotten me through the 50-50% chance of getting
As described in document B. If they can just see how we are really doing and the harsh conditions we have to go through every day, they should send some food and other basic necessities. It has been weeks since I had a good warm meal. Plus my boots are made out of cloth that can maybe help my cold.
Well with all that is happening here it could be worse. According to document D, we have our rights and we need to keep fighting. With our smoky huts that could kill us any day now. Plus we have no meat to live on, to feed on, some of us might have to resort to cannibalism. But the document inspires me to fight on, to live another day. We are not the sunshine patriot, we are men that are fighting for our country and our freedom. It i just telling me to re-enlist and I am pulled in all back in again and wanting to fight more. But none of the less we have to keep on pushing .
In conclusion, we are in this war till the very end. And I can bet the the British is going through the same stuff we are right now. We all have an chance to make it through this winter and I hope you can see why we are staying. Now I am going to ask you, would you
