Faith Johnson is the first African-American female to serve as the District Attorney of Dallas County. She was also the first African-American female to attain the highly regarded status of Chief Felony Prosecutor during her time in the Dallas County District Attorney's Office. Ms. Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in community counseling from Georgia State University, and a law degree from Texas Southern University. Talking about her work experience, she has handled thousands of felony cases ranging from drug possession and theft to sexual assault, child abuse, and capital murder. She is also serving nation as a secretary and a board member of The Potter's House of Dallas, and a past board member of several non-profit organizations. He has also served as a member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO) where he worked on various committees. He is serving as an ex-officio member of the Dallas Central Appraisal District Board of Directors and as President of Tax Assessor-Collector Association of Texas. Therefore, every branch of government has been established for the public safety and benefits.
