Approximately 79 million viewers watched the game on TV. It was the first time a Super Bowl was played during television’s “prime time”. Quarterback Troy Aikman was voted the MVP. The next year, the Cowboys again defeated the Bills, this time by a score of thirty to thirteen. This Super Bowl (XXVIII) was held in Atlanta, Georgia. Future Hall of Famer running back Emmitt Smith was voted MVP. Super Bowl XXVIII was played on January 30, 1994, in Atlanta, Georgia. Their last win was in 1995, Super Bowl XXX. The Cowboys outscored the Steelers 27 to 17 points, and cornerback Larry Brown was voted the MVP. This was the first ever Super Bowl to be played in Tempe, Arizona. Before Super Bowl XXX, the Cowboys and the Steelers had each won four Super Bowl championships, and were trying to tie the 49ers for the most wins. It was the third time the Cowboys and Steelers had faced each other in a Super Bowl game. With this win, the Cowboys became the first team to win three Super Bowls in four years.
