Damage Identity Concept

Damage identity concept is when someone label an individual in a negative way. It reinforces that children believe they should act in a certain way. The stigma of having a label can very damaging and can lead to serious issues. I agree that once the person is labeled, it’s very hard for them to move away from that label and to gain another image. I think that we need to respond more positively to children, I think that would improve our society dramatically. It only makes sense to help our children mend themselves and not to treat them like offenders who need to be tagged.
