My hero was born to be the greatest , he was born to entertain people and to make them happy. My hero is the best at whatever he does on a field. My hero is a soccer player and his name is Lionel Andres Messi. Messi is the greatest player of all time, because of the skills he possesses. Prison has always been a place of intrigue for people who have not spent time behind the bars of justice. Countless movies have been made to feed that intrigue by depicting prison life, but most have been grossly inaccurate. The effectiveness of a prison system relies on the rehabilitation process that is enacted by each prison; this process is usually overlooked in most movies.…

In my opinion of which best athlete should go to, it would definitely go to FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi. First of all, the superstar soccer player has done so much in his career and broke so many records. Likewise, he has amazing skills on the pitch and hardly ever misses the back of the net. Lionel has scored 500 goals for both his club team and International team, with 300 of the goals going to his club alone. As a result, Messi has exceeded the point of what an athlete is people would say he is from a different planet. On top of that, Messi has helped his club win all 5 championships in one year, from La Liga BBVA, to Champions League, making FC Barcelona the only team to do so. There is no uncertainty that Lionel Messi is…

Costume designer Lindy Hemming described the Joker's look as reflecting his personality, in that "he doesn't care about himself at all"; she avoided designing him as a vagrant, but still made him appear to be "scruffier, grungier," so that "when you see him move, he's slightly twitchier or edgy."[20][31][31] Nolan noted, "We gave a Francis Bacon spin to [his face]. This corruption, this decay in the texture of the look itself. It's grubby. You can almost imagine what he smells like."[99] In creating the "anarchical" look of the Joker, Hemming drew inspiration from such countercultural pop culture artists as Pete Doherty, Iggy Pop, and Johnny Rotten.[100] Ledger described his "clown" mask, made up of three pieces of stamped silicone, as a "new technology," taking less than an hour for the make-up artists to apply, much faster than more-conventional prosthetics usually requires. Ledger also said that he felt he was barely wearing any make-up.[20][101]…

After seeing that game I knew I wanted to play soccer, and that my dream is to play for the national team of Mexico. Couple of years later I was playing pee wee soccer. That year we won the championship. I continued to play for a couple more years where I polished my skills as peewees, which lead us to a couple more championships.…

The film The Dark Knight Rises is very phallocentric and masculine. It also focuses on and uses gothic themes to present and challenge the fears a current age person has in today’s society. Its use of gothic themes creates a setting that helps amplify and enhance these fears. The setting has a gloomy atmosphere, urban decay. A sense of an underworld is created through dark tunnels and hidden secrets, this also gives Gotham City a labyrinthine quality. The film also uses aerial shots of the city, which emphasises the urban landscapes and how a person is very small compared to the city, and also creates a sense of isolation and builds on the sense of a labyrinth. The name Gotham City is a play on the word gothic and further plays on these themes.…

The Dark Knight came out in 2008, when George W. Bush was President, so I was 14 at the time and Emily was 12. I remember going to the theater the day it came out because I was never more excited for a movie. I have been a fan of the Batman franchise since I was a kid; my older sister and I would constantly watch the Batman VHS's that we had until they were too scratched up from use. Emily watched the film with all of her boy cousins because they wanted her to see it with them. I was so intrigued to see a new interpretation of an already golden performance by Nicholson, and since this role was different than anything Heath Ledger had done before, I knew it was going to be either incredible or awful. Emily noted that the powerful emotions between the characters and the brooding cinematography created an intense viewing experience for the audience, which helped them connect to the story.…
