Dbq The Causes Of The American Revolution
During the course of 1775-1783 the American colonists were under control by Great Britain. As expected, these people were unhappy with the treatment such as taxes and the colonists decided to take action and revolt against Britain.

In document A, it is a letter addressed to Secretary Henry Seymour Conway, one of the two secretaries of state for Great Britian. As the secretary, his responsibility was the relations with American colonies. The letter was written by a man named, Will Alfred and it was published in a London newspaper and in the Boston Gazette Supplement on January 27, 1766. In the letter, Alfred made a complaint about the Stamp Act and how it was placed on nothing of significant importance. It doesn’t even affect the poor because
