Many individuals may think everyone has access to resources for disease prevention. If individuals were educated from their home country on the importance of health maintenance, they would keep the same regimen for when they migrate to a different country such as the United States. There are places in third-world countries where there is a lack of technology and/or resources to provide simple screening for the population. Healthcare globalization will always be an issue. Many illnesses can be avoided through primary prevention. Educating patients in the language and grade-level which they comprehend is a major step to disease prevention. Secondary prevention, which includes screening, is extremely beneficiary to identify and treat certain diseases before it becomes detrimental.
