* Money is important. Money is important. Without money you can't buy your favorite things or live in a normal life. True love? Friendship? It will only lead to sad endings and you can't bring that to the bank and make you happy. Money makes me happy because of these things and nothing more.
Posted by: Anonymous * Money is crucial for daily needs. An abundance of money may make us solitary, but a lack of money will most certainly create stress. Why is education so important? So we can be successful in later life. Being in poverty will not let us be free to indulge ourselves in what we want. It is a materialistic world and we have materialistic needs which needs MONEY. We buy things to make ourselves happy and others happier.

* Money is enough to make anyone happy.
People don't realize that without money, you could possible not be living. Modern medicine studies were funded by money. People use money to buy necessities which are also thing to make you more comfortable. You need money to have kids (something that makes you happy). Money is the foundation for your home... Well unless you chopped down your own trees and built it yourself. Making, transportation, fine dining, entertainment, technology, medicine, etc. Those are all things that need you to involve money in order to obtain them.

* For those who think money cannot bring true happiness Think? Can you pay your bills with a hug?
In today's world money can buy everything even happiness. You may be very friendly and lovable but people will not at all care to be with you unless you have money. The importance of money can only be known to a mother whose child is dying out of hunger or to a wife who doesn't have enough money to cure her sick and dying husband. * Everything but money I should be happy. I have a great husband and a beautiful daughter. But I'm not, I'm depressed because we don't have enough money to meet our basic needs (a place to live/rent, transportation).

I disagree with Aristotle and this form of logic; therefore, money is vital for survival at the present time. Money is needed for food, housing, transportation, and these things are needed for survival. According to Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, there are five phases that you need to accomplish to become a self-actualized person. They are physiological needs, which are food and water, lodging and air. The second phase is security needs, and they need to feel safe and secure, which could be living in a good neighborhood. The third phase is social needs, which are love and belonging, for example family. The fourth phase is esteem needs, which are self-esteem and accomplishments. The last phase is self-actualizing needs, and few people reach this stage. Self-actualizing people are concerned with personal development, and not concerned with what others think, nevertheless fulfilling their full potential. An example is Abraham Lincoln and John F.…

Money can buy a lot of things but it cannot buy good health, respect, love, inner peace etc as these only come from good principles. A person can have million in his bank account but still feel poor because he is not content with his life, more money gives him only minimal satisfaction. Security come from within from knowing that what you have is enough for you to be happy, it comes from believing in your self. All of us tend to think that happiness comes from outside i.e. through money. A short story that supports this notion is "A Christmas Memory' by Truman Capote it is the story of a child who does not get anything for Christmas except handed down and worn out except for a kite but he is still satisfied and goes out to fly it. Although there will always be those who say money cannot buy happiness, money can lead to personal satisfaction, which in the end leads to happiness. Happiness can be created through the things that one owns, also by what they have compared to others around them. As said in the article, “The Happiness of Pursuit,” one helps obtain happiness because “money can boost happiness if it allows people to obtain more of the things they need and desire” (qtd. in Kluger). This is proven through the fact that when people get what they want, or get more of the things they enjoy, then they become happy, and money can be used to get those things. It can also be argued that based on the amount of money one makes, their happiness can either be increased or decreased. In an article from the Time Magazine, according to Belinda Luscombe, “the more [people make], the more they felt their life was going well.” If it is true that the more money people make, and the better they feel pertaining to how their life is going, then they will definitely be happier depending on their monetary wealth. With the constant arguing back and forth of people as to whether money makes people happy, sad, or has no affect, it is apparent that money does affect people’s lives. Money can both help people get what they want, also help make their lives feel as if they are going well, which are both…

“Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has, the more one wants,” quoted by Benjamin Franklin. Money can’t buy happiness because materials are short lived, human connection is more important, and wealth undermines people’s ability to savor positive events from the sheer abundance. Money will accumulate, but it is easy to chase more and more until you realize you’re not actually living.…

Although money can buy our necessary needs such as a bed, computers, books, food, and acquaintances, it can't buy respect, common sense, a purpose in life, a close-knit family and a strong work ethic. In my opinion, money can buy the illusion of happiness, but the true happiness has no money value. Also, money can also ruin your social relationship between your friends and family. From the story "The Scholarship Jacket", it told a story of a girl, named Marta, who grew up her with her father, who was a farm laborer, but he didn't make enough money to feed eight of his children. So she moved to live with her grandparents But despite having no money, she had a loving family, and it didn't stop her from working hard to achieve her goals, to have…

Money makes the world go around. Living in the new millennium, it is very apparent money is what’s important. Money is the root of all evil, yet the source of happiness. Then again, this statement could only hold water depending on the financial status of the person in question. There may be more than one thing in life that holds importance. Personally, I feel there indeed is more than one thing. Looking at the big picture makes me realize that love is the most important thing in life. This may be in large part that I, the person writing this paper, have not experienced love first hand outside of my family. Look at the people in the world who are at the top of the social ladder, they have money, they have what may appear to be everything that would make a person happy. But, do all of them have love? Most of them are miserable because money cannot buy you everything, this includes love. Looking further into it all, although the person may seem happy on the outside, they may not be on the inside. This may lead back to the fact that they have not found love. In a way everything goes hand in hand with love. Family is centered on love, happiness will lead someone to finding love, which in the end makes you feel whole, which eventually leads to economic success. Love is what makes life interesting. Maybe, by the end of this paper I will discover that love may bring happiness, but may not necessarily be the most important thing in life.…
