The best gift Ever Has anyone ever asked you the question that what your most favorite gift given by someone? Or something sounds like this? If someone asks me these kinds of questions, then I will immediately say yes. The necklace that my mother gave me on my 14th birthday is probably the most valuable and favorite item that I have ever got. Of course, it is not only because of the quality, but also because of its meaning. Actually, I am always wearing it around my neck even now in order not to lose it. I can say the necklace is a very important and very familiar item to me. I don’t know why, but it makes me feel better whenever I feel troubled or I feel heavy at heart. I just close my eyes and hold the necklace in my hand, then everything becomes alright and I feel much more comfortable than before. I want you to know that I am neither Christian nor Buddhist. The reason why I mentioned this is because I think usually Christians or Buddhists have a religious symbol such as necklace or ring that can make them feel better. Also they believe that it has a power from the God. Don’t they? Although I cannot prove how it gives me strength, I trust that it has a special power. Probably, the necklace is the most precious one of my belongings. I still remember the day, of my 14th birthday, when my mother gave me the beautiful necklace as a gift. It was exactly September 29, 1999 and I remember that day vividly. It was a wonderful day for me. I cannot forget that my heart thumped so fast before I opened the gift box. I took a breath deeply. And finally, I could feel tears in my eyes when I opened it. I could see a fantastic silver necklace inside a box which my mother gave me. Because I was really surprised, I couldn’t say anything when I saw it first. I thought it was the brightest thing or shiny thing that I had ever seen. At least, as I thought. Now I can see it hanging on my
